Frequently Asked Questions

  • How much are program fees?
For pricing please read the handbook of the program your Star is registered in.
  • Can I visit the program?
We prefer not to disrupt our programs so we do not do tours during operating times. We do offer orientation and meet the teacher events at the end of August and registered families will be notified of these times in August via email. For an online viewing, please navigate to the "Our Space" tab under our "About Us" page for video tours and image galleries of the facility.
  • Does my child have to be potty trained to attend?
No, we do not require your Star to be potty trained. Although, we do ask that you send any supplies necessary for clean up if they are not quite there!
  • Can my child attend 5 days a week for Playschool/Pre-K?
Yes, if there is room available we will accept children in both programs! We have had Stars attend 5 days a week, since each class is based on child interest it is never repetitive. Preference would be that they are potty trained and mature enough to socialize with the older of the two classes, but trial periods can be arranged if in doubt!

Most of the common questions we receive are answered in our handbooks found above.

If you do not find the answer you are looking for in the handbooks, please reach out to us directly.

What do you need to know?

We have started field trips and hosting speakers again! Permission forms will be collected and all required information will be shared with families.

All registrants are to supply one tub of Lysol wipes.

All Stars are required to have clean, indoor footwear that will stay onsite.

Parents must send a refillable, labeled water bottle daily.

No toys or devices are allowed from home.

Visitors / Parents

All visitors must be in good health and will never be left with children unsupervised. We welcome special guests but health and safety are our priority.

Displaying Signs of Illness

Please refer to the handbooks for our sick policies. Children that show signs of illness at the program will be separated and require pick-up. We are doing all we can to keep illness at bay. Please keep your Star at home when they are unwell.

Cleaning Protocols

Staff will sanitize all touchable surfaces often throughout the day and toys daily. Parents are invited to join us once a month for a one-hour toy clean which is a lovely way to interact with adults! No children under 8 please.

Healthy Environment

Little Star wants everyone to stay healthy and we are following the procedures as laid out by the government for childcare.
