Pre-K Classes
M-W-F Half or Full Day (days off will be set around the IREC school calendar)
This program is geared towards preparing our Stars for entry into elementary the following season. We focus on the extension and bridging of all skills learned in the Playschool class, instilling a love for learning and setting students up for success in their future school career. All programming is age-appropriate and follows the learning-through-play philosophy. This group has more field trips and a fabulous graduation ceremony!

Playschool Classes
Tuesday/Thursday Half or Full Day
This program is the first school experience for most Stars! We focus on building social skills, transitions, name recognition, working with both fine and gross motor skills, as well as spatial positioning, and literacy skills. We do this by creating a warm and engaging space, rich with opportunities for hands-on experiences and problem-solving opportunities, based on children's interests and the learning-through-play philosophy.

Little Star OSP
Out of School Program
This program drops off and picks up from Iron Ridge Elementary and walks them to our Broadway Avenue, Blackfalds location. Our focus is providing quality programming, building great social skills, instilling empathy, and teaching life skills so that our Stars become amazing citizens of our community.

St. Gregory OSP
Out of School Program
This program is a set-up/tear down program run onsite at St. Gregory. This program also provides care to the students from IRIC school. We are lucky to have a fabulous park onsite as well as the use of the gym when available. We work with the same end goal in mind as the Little Star OSP, helping to create amazing citizens of the community!

Kindercare
Half Day
We offer out-of-school care to half-day kindergarten morning students from IREC. We walk students to and from school and provide enriching programming based on the children's interests. Kindercare has its own special space with an entrance behind our facility. (Check out the photos in Our Spaces)

Superstar Summer Care
Summer Care 7:00am -5:30pm
Registration is now open for the 2026 Superstar Summercare Program! Our caring, certified staff all hold a minimum of a level 1 in Early Learning and Childcare and First Aid. We program based on children's interests, so no two days are ever the same. We have oodles of equipment, a fenced-in outdoor space, and we utilize our community sources such as the library, spray park, and playgrounds. We bring in special guests and build on your Star's social skills, all while having a blast!
